AREA ATTRACTIONS

The Smoky Mountains have so much to offer guests of all ages. No matter when you plan your trip, you'll find activities and festive celebrations during all four seasons. Below are some of the highlights:

Summer

Enjoy warm summer days with cool mornings and evenings during your stay. These are some of the best days to enjoy all the outdoors have to offer: hiking, rafting, fishing and other outdoor adventurous sports. Dollywood is host to several music festivals and features its Great American Summer program as well as the opening of its seasonal waterpark.

Smoky Mountain National Park view

Fall

Likely the most beautiful time to visit the Smokies, visit when the leaves are changing color. Festivals include hot rod extravaganzas, harvest celebrations and Oktoberfest at Ober Gatlinburg, right around the corner.

 

Both cabins are surrounded by trees and provide spectacular settings from the patios where you can snuggle up with a blanket or relax in the hot tubs with your beverage of choice.

Winter

The Smokies are a unique place to celebrate the holidays. Winterfest is celebrated throughout the region, lighting up the area. Don't miss the Trolley Tour of Lights and the seasonal craft shows. If you are lucky, it'll snow on your visit, blanketing the mountains in white. Winter sports at Ober Gatlinburg kick into gear and are the highlight of the area during this season.

Spring

If you love the idea of renewal and regrowth, spring is the season for you. Come witness the Smokies come back to life after a long winter. Leave growth begins in April and changes quickly over the course of two weeks. Book your vacation and enjoy the spring Rod Run, music festivals and Easter celebrations. Make the 'Wildflower Pilgrimage' to view the 1500+ species blossoming in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
